Vietnam Pho noodle

I made Vietnam Pho noodle. Pho noodle is popular Vietnam food and made from rice powder.

Put noodles in soup flavored with chicken soup and Nampura fish souse add chicken and sprouts. I love coriander so put plenty of them and it is finished with fried-garlic and lime. It can be made in a short time, with a refreshing flavor of lime, so it’s one of a ideal dish for hot summer.


The stunning pattern emerging on the surface all the way through to the tip of the blade is a creation of seasoned craftsmanship. The wildness of the struck blades and the soft feel from 45 layers of Damascus steel; there is not a single duplicate in the world. Get a nice knife and enjoy cooking!

Tempura / Fried summer vegetable

Japan has been seeing hot summer days with highs of approximately 40℃.
On such hot days, people enjoy a fix of Soba or Udon noodles that is tasty and helps them stay cool. 

Today I enjoyed the Udon with some Tempura, fried summer vegetables, such as eggplants or okuras.


Coat your fried vegetables with flour, potato starch and water – and not eggs – to make the perfect light summer dish.

Pork Stuffed Bell Peppers

I made some pork stuffed bell peppers for dinner.



Sprinkle some flour on the inside of the green pepper, 
so that the meat stuffing stays inside even after baking.
The meat stuffing will shrink while cooking, so stuff a generous heaping amount.
Bake until browned with the meat side down, adding sake, soy sauce and braise.
You don't need to flip them so the green color of the peppers will stay nice and bright.

Fresh peach froyo

I made some frozen yogurt, perfect for summer.


Add some sugar to some fresh cream, and whip until it hardens.
I used a hand mixer, but if you add some lemon when doing it by hand it’ll make bubbles easier.
Roughly mix the whipped yogurt, put it into a mold and put that in the freezer. Leave for about 2 hours, and when it starts to harden, add your favorite fruit or jam and mix well.
This time I topped it some microwaved peach compote.
Mix together, refrigerate for about 4 hours, and it’s done.
I added some home grown mint leaves for a refreshing flavor.
I love fruits and often have some for breakfast or deessert after a meal. This small cutting board and small petty knife is very easy to use cut fruits.

Popular ingredient used in Asian cuisin, Renkon, lotus root

I made Renkon and beans curry.

Renkon is the stem of the lotus plant and it’s edible and used in Japanese food and Asian cuisines.
Even after cooking, it has crunchy yet and you can enjoy the texture.
I like to cut them a little bit larger.
I put some Renkon chips on my plate. To be honest, I almost blacked them but they still tasted good and I enjoyed them.

Japanese typical home cooking Nikujaga, meat and potatoes

I made Nikujaga, meaning meat and potatoes. It's popular as typical home cooking.



I stir-fry meat, potatoes, onions, carrots, and konjac noodles, made from konjac potetos, and boil them well with broth and soy sauce sugar. Konjac has abundant dietary fiber, and is low calorie food. It has good texture, and is filling. A sweetened dish will also become healthy if konjac is put in it in order to increase volume.

Putting in the leftover celery leaves accentuates the flavor.
