Takikomi-gohan, seasoned rice with vegetable

We enjoyed Takikomi Gohan today.
Root vegetables, fish, meat, and flavorings such as sake and soy sauce are added to rice then cooked together.
In Japan, there exists the phrase “autumn of appetite,” as this season is full of many delicious types of food.
“Takikomi gohan” made with ingredients such as seasonal mushrooms, horse mackerel, and Japanese chestnuts is sure to be a meal that pleases the whole family.
